A full range of string ensembles: solo violin and cello players, string duos, string trios and string quartets.

This wedding held at Canoe restaurant in Toronto was just perfect—a wonderful setting, great ambiance and great music, and of course the couple looked great too.

We performed a modern selection of ceremony songs, from Somewhere over the Rainbow to Lucky by Jason Mraz, and our violinist and cellist in the string duo received many positive comments for their beautiful performance.

May the 18th was a popular day for a wedding, and Rita and Kevin has a lovely one! They were so easy to work with and it was just wonderful working with them. Their ceremony, which included communion, was the picture of elegance, traditional and class. In our correspondence and discussion of what music they would like at the wedding, the couple used our Sample Programs on our Quote page, and chose with Classic Mass option, adding the famous Wachet Auf, or Sleepers Awake by Bach. The entire program looked like:

Bridesmaids processional: Bach Air
Bride’s processional: Pachelbel Canon in D
Signing: Bach-Gounoud: Ave Maria
Communion: Bach: Wachet Auf
Recessional: Mendellsohn: Wedding March

Besides the Pachelbel, this was a real Bach fest! Bach ‘s music works so well because it is both comforting, as many of the melodies are well known, but also because the music is so well written, and it provides lots of interest for the guests, it is easy to walk to and it is endlessly tuneful and happy. The last music on the program was Mendelssohn’s wedding March, and it resounded as Rita and Kevin’s walked out followed by their family and friends. Congratulations!

implicity can be extremely refreshing. Tommy and Tanya’s choice of music reflects this and adds an elegant and timeless touch to the wedding ceremony.  Congratulations!

We had a wonderful time performing at the is wedding ceremony, as for part of the ceremony, were joined by the organist of the Church, Clement. We performed a nice mixture of popular and classical pieces for the prelude as guests were taking their seats, and started the ceremony off with Pachelbel Canon alongside the Organist, following that up with Can’t Help falling in Love, which we performed with just the violin and cello. Music was also included during the candle lighting, and during the signing and recessional.

“The music selection worked perfectly! Punctual and everything went smoothly.

Thank you very much.” Alan, Groom

Duo d’Amore has hasd many foreign clients from countries all around the work, for wedding ceremonies, reception, public anrivate and corporat events, and it was especially nice to help Alan and Shizue plan the musical portion of the wedding. The Lake house was the perfoct, intimate venue for the ceremony, and we had a great time performing classicas such as Pachelbel Canon and La Rejouissance, and also the less well known but beautiful M'Appari Tutt'Amor by Flotow" arranged for the violin and cello duo.
